Geocache Description:

Bidston Hill is 100 acres of heath land and woodland that contains historic buildings and ancient rock carvings. It is on the Wirral, Merseyside, and reaches a height of 231 feet making it one of the highest points on the Wirral. This elevation over the surrounding area provides some fabulous views.

Midway between the windmill and the observatory/lighthouse is a toposcope showing distances and directions to various places. Trees have grown near here blocking the views, so it’s best to head a little further away from the windmill towards the observatory. There you get an excellent view over Birkenhead, the River Mersey and the world famous Liverpool Skyline.

This is a short multi-cache. The first stage is at the toposcope. Note down the following distances in miles.

Lands End = ABC
Rivington Pike = DE
Chester = FG
Belfast = HIJ
Snowdon = KL

The final cache can be found at N 53 2C.(F+G)H(J-E) W 003 0A.ID(K-D)
