Jenny's 9th birthday cache can be accessed in a variety of ways, allowing cachers of most abilities to enjoy it.
Finding this cache will involve a walk through the lovely woodlands near Fochabers.
There are several ways to reach the cache, ranging from a kamikaze 'follow that GPS through the undergrowth' option, to more gentle strolls along waymarked trails. If you decide on the latter, park in the Forestry Commission car park at N57.36.750 W003.04.522 (where you can pick up leaflets about the local area, Forestry Commission events and have a look at the map board). Set off along the most easterly red trail and you shouldn't have to cope with more than 45m of cross-country.
A considerably more scenic option is to leave the red trail at the first 'winding walks' signpost. Follow this trail until your GPS suggests that it's time to strike off into the wilds. There is somewhere nearby to rest your weary feet before you have to start gaining height.
The cache includes 'Terrance the Tarantula' travel bug, 'Through Space and Time' travel bug, Barbie bracelet, bear puzzle, ball puzzle, safety key-ring and a Taz figurine. There is also a disposable camera in the cache; please take a picture of yourself and let us know when it needs to be replaced. Thanks!
All of the trails can be muddy and slippy after rain, so sensible footwear is recommended. This cache was placed with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission.
