Geocache Description:

This is an offset cache that requires gathering some information at the first location and then locating the cache at the second. No unsafe or private properties, but muggles abound for this cache!

These coordinates will take you to a location where all the information you need will be found. Be sure to bring a small pen and scratch paper. You may even want to print this to take with you. If you take your time and pay attention to detail, this cache will be easy to work out. Edit Note: The reviewer brought up a good point. To my knowledge, all aspects of this cache are handicapped accessible. I am revising the terrain to a 1.5 though because I am unsure whether or not the final location could be more difficult to some than others. I believe it is equally accessible in every aspect, but out of courtesy will rate it 1.5 since I can't be certain. There are plenty of little clues to be found...

Once at the location, consider that you will be Northbound (for our purposes) when you enter the clue repository. Go into the area where numbers can be found and head East until you can only turn North. Turn North and travel a short distance until you are flanked by clues on both your left and right, stop here.

Now evaluate the clues and identify the area occupied by the clues that meet the following requirement; the sum of the first two digits in the clues result in a single digit sum.

Once you have decided which clues you are to choose from, identify the clue that occupies the spot that is the 3rd column from the furthest South and and also is on the 3rd row from the top. Write this number down.

The next clue begins at the point where you are standing in front of and facing the first clue. Turn left and head South until you can turn and go West. Travel West until you can turn right and face North. At this point, you should face an identical view that you had for clue #1.

Now evaluate the clues and identify the area occupied by the clues that meet the following requirement; the sum of the first two digits is NOT equal to the sum used in clue #1.

Once you have decided which clues you are to choose from for clue #2, identify the clue that occupies the spot that is in the column furthest Southwest and and also is on the 4th row from the top. Write down the number that you get when you subtract the sum of the last two digits of the clue from the three digit number formed by the final three digits of the clue.

Clue #1 will complete the final three spaces in this coordinate:
N30 _ _ . _ _ _ (to check your answer, the sum of these digits should equal 12)

Clue #2 will complete the final three spaces in this coordinate:
W092 _ _ . _ _ _ (to check your answer, the sum of these digits should equal 10)

Now add the first of the three digits of clue #2 to the sum of the digits in clue #1 for the two remaining digits in clue #1. You should now have the complete coordinate for clue #1.

Then subtract the sum of the final three digits from clue #1 from the two digits you entered to complete #1 to get the remaining missing digits in clue #2.

Now go to this new location. You might wonder if your coordinates are correct because it isn't "close by". They are probably correct if the crow would have to fly about 3 miles. Once in the area, find a parking spot, grab a pen, go to the cache location and take a break. Have a seat, you've earned it. You'll know you're within inches of locating the cache when you notice the stone faced stare of the one muggle you can't hide from. He is always there watching his cache. So be nice, pass him a smile and if you can take a moment, stop by to visit him.

CONGRATS to ZSandmann for being FTF on JeepCacherz 1st cache!!!! An additional special thanks to him and Team Eagle for bringing up some things to help tweak the cache listing. Good luck, hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy everyone else's hides!

I found a link to a site that will offer some help to those who may be stumbling. It won't help you while hunting. But if you find yourself unable to solve the math, take your possible solutions home for another day and check here when you feel you have it worked out. And remember, it isn't supposed to be easy, it's a puzzle :)
