Easy place to stop and turn around, but if you go back into the rec area for the other cache there be careful of the ruts and holes in the drive farther back. They could swallow a small car!
This Rec Area used to be a real nice place to stop for a picnic or to fish. It had some really nice big trees that provided lots of shade, it had picnic tables and nice parking and pit toilets. All of that changed when a tornado took it all away. The trees were stripped and twisted and the outhouse taken away by the winds. It was never rebuilt and today is only used by mostly locals for fishing.
Easy park and grab micro for the many cachers that travel this highway.
You're looking for a hanging bison tube that's been camo'ed to hopefully blend in, though there's a little silver still sticking out I think!
FTF on this will be shared by three people this time. NevaP and corncachers found it right after I hid it but before it was actually published, and skinnergus was the official FTF after it was published. They all found it fair and square, just at different times. Congrats to all of you!
