Geocache Description:

Well worth the travel

Its amazing where you end up when you just keep going.
I decided to go for a long ride the other day and ended up here. This place used to belong to the Stuchberry family many years ago. But now its remains belongs to Parks Victoria. (pics ST2, ST3, ST4, ST5)
There are two ways you can get here: The short and easy, or the long and fun.
The sort way will have you driving in via Yan Yean road to a long semi-sealed road which used to be the drive way for the farm. (pic ST1). If you decide to park the car here, make sure you can do a multi-point turn. Its a tight squeeze. From here its about 500M walk to GZ.
you can park your car at 37 38 323 145 06 842

Now, the FUN way. (mountain bike). Bring ya skills. When I first did this, I entered near 'Toby's 1st' and rode to GZ. An awesome ride which will lead you past Nioka Park Bush Camp, see if you can find the outdoor chapel, and down hill, over a river crossing PIC ST6. (dry at the moment) then up another hill to the farm. If you keep going this will eventually lead you to Yan Yean Road.
Cache is an ammo tin painted to suit surroundings. In a nearby log, there are some really old glass bottles that have been hidden...by whom?
I didn't have much stuff to put in sorry 'bout that.
Enjoy the area, read the sign (ST5) and stay tuned for more hides around this area.
