Geocache Description:

For those of you that like a flash mob event, this ones for you. The season, the day, the time and the place all combine for the ideal flash mob. So sign up and mark it down on your calender. *********************************************************************** *********************Dec. 5, 2008 from 7:30 PM to 7:45 PM***********

In keeping with the spirit of a flash mob event I ask that you do not congregate at the listed coordinates prior to the start of the event. Please spread out and do some window shopping. 15 minutes may seem like not much time but if you think about it you can easily walk a half a block and still have plenty of time to sign the log. At exactly 7:30 PM (George’s time) a whistle will blow to start the event and the log book will be opened. A stop watch (George’s) will be started and the count down to 15 minutes will commence. At 7:40 PM (George’s time) group pictures will be taken. A 10 second count down to the end of the event (according to George) will be given to allow any last second signing of the log to be completed. At exactly 7:45 PM (George’s time) a whistle will blow signaling the end of the event and the log book will be closed. Please immediately disperse from the event area and go to any place of your choosing. Maybe you can help the local economy and buy some of the things you were window shopping prior to the start of the event.

Church street is a very dog friendly place but because of the traffic that will be nearby, please have them under control at all times. I would recommend leashing your pet. Also, please be prepared to clean up anything that needs cleaning up.

Although time will be short, there should be a meeting of old faces and new ones. I expect, as always, that some horror stories will be told although they must be kept short. Sorry, Pa. If you are in doubt as to the exact location of the event, look for the kook in the crazy Christmas hat.

Tis the season where parking could be a problem. You are on your own. Good luck.

************************* MERRY CHRISTMAS ************
