Cayman Flotsam Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nirvanadiver: I am going to Archive this Cache. It's been a great cache and one of the most visited one I have, but the mugglers have been repeatedly disabling this one...don't know if it's a neighbor or just random mugglers but it needs repeated Maintenance. So The Cayman Flotsam has floated away with the last storm.

Geocache Description:

"PLEASE ! PLEASE ! PUT THE CACHE BACK IN A SPOT WHERE IT CAN'T BE SEEN BY PEOPLE WALKING BY"

This cache is in a nice little ocean front walk way to the beach, called Buff's Garden and is VERY well traveled so please wait till no one is around to look. You do not have to go off path to find this little piece of flotsam, absolutely no walking off path or disturbing the plants. Please respect the quietness and beauty of all you see.

DO NOT STEP OFF PATH, NO NEED TO WALK IN PLANTED AREAS....IT CAN BE REACHED FROM THE WALKWAY

There is a lady (Betty) that lives near by that watches over the garden and keeps an eye out for geocachers. She is a retired Teacher, say hi if you see her, she knows what you are looking for and she can give you a clue if you need it.

The container is now as of 5/26/11 a loc&loc box, not the original Sunglass holder from the Cayman Islands that is used by Scuba divers and beachcombers, hence the "Cayman Flotsam" name. These containers turn up as flotsam on the beaches world wide.

There is a log book and a pencil (please return this pencil to container for others to use). There are a few tiny things that I have found on the beaches in Cayman. Please only trade small things that won't keep the lid from closing and the contents getting wet.

Please return Cache as you find it so that it can't be seen by mugglers.
