Geocache Description:

A short easy multi cache located in a small cemetery surrounded by trees. This cache could almost be considered a park, grab and go. It is meant to be fun for all including families.

This cache is part of the link being developed between the geocaching meccas of Dorchester and Ingersoll by Yukondave and Chartmaker; but it was felt there was also a need to extend the geocaching trail towards London. Watch for other caches currently under development to complete the Dorchester/Ingersoll link.

Congratulations to "Yukondave" for the FTF;
and a Well Done to "Brendah" for being 2nd to Find.

Please park either on the shoulder of the road or in the grass entrance in front of the cemetery. Do not use the laneway to the east side of the cemetery as it is on private property.

Cache is located at the Nilestown Baptist Cemetery which dates from the mid 1800s. At one time a church also stood on this site. It is very easy to drive past this cemetery and not notice the tombstones set well back from the road.

It is a short, easy walk from stage 1 to stage 2.

While at stage 1 take the time to read the plaques set into the walls surrounding the tombstones and if you look around at stage 1 you will see the namesake for this cache.

Think about the words:
tribute, memory, posterity, inspiration and celestial fire. After you have done so "Go Forth" and find stage 2 and take a moment to reflect on your life and those who are important to you as well as those you just happen across while going about your daily tasks. Oh, did you see the chair sitting in the corner. It is kind of unique.

To find stage 2, add the last digit of the latitude decimal numbers to the latitude decimal numbers of stage 1; and subtract 15 from the stage 1 decimal longitude numbers to get the stage 2 longitude decimal numbers.

Okay, got that, now take the short walk to stage 2 which is a camoflaged peanut butter jar. Stage 2 should be fairly winter friendly as is stage 1 which is simply a walk up to the cemetery to get you to spend some time looking at the tombstones and the plaques set in the walls just to get you thinking.

If you have not yet found stage 2 follow your GPS to latitude 42 degrees, 58.976, longitude 081 degrees, 05.679. Now that you did the math did you get the right answer? I just wanted to see if you did the math first or kept on reading. I told you this was an easy multi-cache.
