Geocache Description:

This cache is near the trail that used to be the tracks for the interurban from Anderson to the Mounds Park and goes right past the "Great Mound." So it's another "rails-to-trails," kind of like the Cardinal Greenway, but unpaved. As the sign says, it was the place where you caught the train for only a nickel.

The cache is a small cammo'd Lock 'N Lock just a few feet off the trail.

There is an admission fee for Mounds Park during the warm weather, but it is free during off-season.
SINCE I'M MOVING TO TEXAS AT THE END OF APRIL, MY HIKING BUDDY NORM WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS CACHE UNTIL ITS PARK PERMIT EXPIRES.
