Geocache Description:

On the morning of November 1, 2008, several members of the Strathcona 215 Scouts set of from Graves Bridge for a rafting trip down to Policeman's Flats. The plan was to find a few caches and hide a few caches. This cache was placed shortly after we launched and is best accessed by water to avoid private property and a wildlife refuge. The ammo can was painted by the oldest of the young Sears Towers and is chained to a trip to keep it from moving too much during flooding.

When the trip was being planned, there was concern about rafting in the frigid month of November. After this stop, I had to remove my coat so I did not overheat as the temp rose to nearly 16 degrees today!
