Geocache Description:

Warrington Cachers Recommended Cache Award

This is a two stage multi located along a public footpath through a lovely wooded area close to Lymm Dam, known locally as The Bongs. Wellies or boots are definately required for this one. For the first stage you are looking for a micro which holds co-ordinates for stage two. Below is a photo taken from the cache site which may help a little. Please take care to replace cache EXACTLY as you found it. Stage two is in a clip lock plastic container inside a camo bag and contains a log book, pencil and a few other bits and pieces for the kids. Both stages can be done in under an hour however as with most of our caches this is entirely dependent upon how quickly you locate stage one. Parking is available at the end of The Avenue, there is usually space for about four or five cars available during the week but can get busy during the weekend. The wood is fairly quiet during the week but weekend gets quite busy although not as busy as around the Dam, so extreme stealth will be required. If you want a full day of caching in the area you might like to consider doing Lymm Dam(n) Frustration! which is a really good multi around Lymm Dam.
