The cache is close to the roadway and access is reasonably easy. It should be findable until we get about eight inches of snow on the ground.
When my wife and I were young we used to go out to Birds Hill Park with my parents in the winter. We would take a Thermos of chicken soup and crackers and cheese (these could all be eaten with your mitts on). We would strap on our snow shoes and hike to one of the shelters or benches, brush off the snow and enjoy our picnic under the bright blue sky. This tradition continued with our children.
This is a cache for the kids. The Stuffed Toy cache is an ammo box filled with eight stuffed toys. They are snuggled in there to keep each other warm. Each is in its own Ziploc bag to ensure they stay dry. Take the kids out for the hunt and enjoy!
