Geocache Description:


MRII warren is on the Forest Home Drive Bridge #1
The bridge was not taken to the hospital for a MRI but it is listed as a Metal Riveted Double-Intersection Warren through Truss, Stationary, which is a bit much for a cache name.
This one is interesting in that it has a double intersection truss that is uncommon in this area.
It was built in 1909 by the Groton bridge company. Additional information and photo’s are at: (visit link)

This is a busy road and you will need to cross the road to the sidewalk to get the cache. caution caution caution, this is not a good one for the kids but should be ok for adults with a bit of caution. The cache is accessible from the sidewalk please stay out of the road during your search.

The cache is close by GC104JX Unknown Cache DoUsuDoku and the same parking area at N 42° 27.045 W 076° 27.980 can be used.

Be sure to log the bridge as a waymark if you do waymarking.

Note There are about 11 Truss bridges over fall creek as it winds and loops it's way through Cortland and Tompkins counties in NY nine of those bridges now have caches.
