Deceangi: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll gladly unarchive it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Kingston Station

Kingston railway station serves Kingston upon Thames in the London Borough of the same name.
The station, called Kingston Town/New (depending which website you use), opened in 1863, and at that time was the terminus of the London & South Western Railway branch line from Twickenham. Kingston High Level opened in 1869. The two stations were amalgamated and renamed Kingston in 1935.
The station, in Travelcard Zone 6, and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains. It is 9 miles (14km) from Waterloo.
The cache is located approx 0.4km from the station by the River Thames close to the railway bridge (but not on it so don’t bother looking).

The cache is a magnetic 35mm Film Canister and has a log book and small pencil (I think, it may be worth bringing your own writing implement).
