Geocache Description:

This is the eighth cache in our Charlotte, NC Neighborhood series.

Dilworth is designated as historic with many homes on the National Registry. Most homes were built from 1900 to 1940 and are filled with architectural details and history. The wide tree-lined streets and shade tree canopy add to the charm of this area, which was Charlotte's first suburb. Dilworth is also home to many hospitals. Latta Park (seems to me that we geo-cached there) is located in the center of Dilworth. And, of course, there's East Boulevard with it's many fine restaurants. I've got to mention South End, Charlotte Trolley, Lynx Blue Line.

Thanks to Airhud who told me of a better place to get cache containers at the "Greater Charlotte Geocaching Club Goes Outdoors" event.

Congradulations to gypc for FTF!
