Did you know that Venus Fly Traps and the Pitcher Plant really do eat flies? They do it for the protein!

This small trailhead is the beginning of the Darlingtonia Trail that is only .3 mile long. It is a great spot to stop and stretch your legs. Be sure and read all the information as you start on the trail.

We thought this would be a good spot for a cache. There is excellent off highway parking. The trail is graveled, so it is not muddy and can be accessed all year long.

You are looking for a camo nut container with the usual trading goodies and room for more.You do not need to walk the entire trail for this one. It is very near the trailhead.
