A new season for Survivor Sumner County
Over four years ago, I hid the original Survivor Sumner County. Since then, I have learned the art of hiding better and am launching the new and improved season. Key differences: you don't have to decide the order of stream drinkability and you don't have to find Badd Companie Bricks. But most important: I have learned from other cachers how to get five finds in this series. SO fill up your tank with $2 gas and grab this while the low price lasts.
You are a contestant on Survivor. Jeff is pushing you out of the helicopter onto the roof of the building at the above co-ordinates. There are five caches to find in the area (to feed your addiction: caches are more important than drinkable water to some of us).
While you are here, check out the benchmark. The last two digits of its year (19UU) should be noted. You will divide it by four and then subtract one to get the AA in the following formula:
N 37 AA.BBC
W097 CD.DEE
BB is found at Survivor Silver Creek
CC is found at Survivor Chikaskia River
DD is found at Survivor Shore Creek--for now, use the sum of second digit Silver Creek and first digit Chikaskia River
EE is found at Survivor Siouxre Creek
In each of these caches, the two digit number is written on the log sheet.
Once you have found enough of the Survivor "stream" caches, you can go for the final. The final is an ammo box, hidden in rocks. All caches and stages are roadside. Some are quite scenic, others are at best so-so. Some of the caches are close to the originals, others are not.
