Geocache Description:

Quiet Easy Cache down a dirt road situated in Country surroundings

Muldersdrift, on the West Rand is approximately 30 minutes from
Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Muldersdrift made history in 1896 when Dr Leander Jameson was captured in Muldersdrift after the failed Jameson Raid. The raid was an attempt to capture Johannesburg from the Boers and allow Cecil John Rhodes to take over political power.
The attempt to capture Johannesburg from the Boers was instigated by Cecil John Rhodes whose hopes of politician offices were destroyed by this stunt.
Fossils found in the area show that man's earliest ancestors were roaming these plains. The fossils are between 2 and 4-million years old

This is the 4th. in the Hill Cache series. Nestling in the Cradle of Mankind with unobstructed views of a small Dam. Enjoy the tranquillity of the dam, and feel surrounded by nature.Owners are aware of the cache
