Geocache Description:

Cache is on the slight diversion off the Fosse Way descending towards Oakhill.quite muddy and stony in places.Walking boots or wellies essential after rain.Great views on the way .

Cache is a small clip lock box containing log book, emergency writing implement,a few bits of Tesco's finest party tat and £1 for FTF.

Please bring your own pen or pencil or you may have to log in crayon!

If you park at Beacon Hill car park the first 30 yards to you get to the Fosse Way are along a busy straight road and needs care. You will need to keep going straight on until you come to a Public Bridleway.

I walked the circuit of public footpaths around Beacon Hill,Three Ashes and Oakhill with a view to setting a small series to try to get a few visitors to my nearby cache,my favourite of the ones I have set, GCYZQH which only I have visited since early May.However a hundred yards past that one the mud currently goes 3/4s of the way up my wellies. The FP north of the "h" in ashes is even worse for its whole distance so there is currently only this one and it's sister Fosse Way - 1866 for now.
