The cache is placed few kilometers before you enter the San Pedro Martir National Park. With high clearance car you can come within 30 meters from the cache location or you can walk to the place from the main road (approx. 500 meters). There is an gorgeous view from this point. You can see all the way to the Pacific Ocean coastline on a clear day. Elevation is 2322 m.
We placed this cache with my friends Beata and Petr from San Diego on our trip to the National Park. It is my/our first cache and I am really proud of it.
I want to devote it to my friends Libor and Liba, because we discovered this place first time with them in the year 2000 :-).
When placing the cache, we kind of improvised. The container is a 2 liter thick transparent plastic square bottle. In order to be able to place items in the cache, we had to cut of the bottom of the bottle, and than we glued it back with duck tape. So the cacher should bring a tape with him in order to close the bottle back or bring another container and replace the original for some suitable Rubbermaid thing. This would be the best and I will be very thankful to him.
My friend cacher czechmex, will replace the container at his next visit of this place. It is scheduled to mid off january.
