Geocache Description:


This cache is placed at a North Country Trail information station located about 200 feet in the woods from Route 66 just south of Marienville.

This information station gives people an idea of what the North Country National Scenic Trail is.

From this point, a person can hike to New York through the Allegheny National Forest. This is approximately 100 continuous miles of trail.

Cache is a small lock and lock container with a log book and a few small trade items.

This geocache is located on state game lands so please remember to wear orange during all hunting seasons.
