This is the first of several caches along Beargrass Trail along Lexington Road. There is a nice paved bike trail here that runs through a slice of nature between two heavily traveled roadways. The best parking is on the west side of Cherokee Park, with the trailhead located at the intersection of Lexington and Grinstead.
You are looking for a peanut butter jar hidden in the normal manner. To minimize bushwhacking, take the gravel trail that shoots off the paved trail.
