What a great classroom, the Meredith Education Centre has it all. The Blowies who monitor the flow of the Moorabool River showed us this spot and it has become a favourite spot to visit.
A delightful spot to camp, have a campfire or a picnic lunch and the river is shallow and safe for children to paddle in.
The cache is a 1 litre sistema located on a sleep slope away from the campfire and track to the river.
The road is generally suitable for 2wd but it will become tricky after rain.
There are several roads that lead to dead ends so we have provided you with the coordinates for the correct turnoff. Ignore them if you like the adventure.
Apologies - we didn’t have a FTF prize with us but we’ll organise something for the winner.
