Jelen: Rozhodl jsem se, ze kes nebudu obnovovat, ale radeji ji archivuji. Misto je uz pro mistni mudli proflaknute a nove umisteni neni vhodne, jelikoz kes je vytvorena k povodni, ktera tuto lavku odnesla. Po dvou letech ma keska narok na odpocinek v archivu kesi. Diky za vsechny navstevy a logy.

Jednoducha mestska magneticka keska. Na souradnicich se nachazi nova lavka pro pesi, kterou si v roce 1998 vzala niciva povoden.
Simple town magnetic Cache. Coordinates show a new footbridge which replaced the old one destroyed by heavy flood disaster which occurred in 1998.

BAHaMY – BAHno a My
Keska je zalozena k 10. vyroci povodne, ktera v lete roku 1998 prosla pres Dobrusku, predevsim pres mestske casti Melcany a Pulice, dale pak pres obce Dobre, Chabory, Pohori, Opocno, Ceske Mezirici,ale i dalsi obce v podhuri Orlickych hor.
V Dobrusce byly nejvice postizeny ulice Na Porici a Za Vodou, kde je velke mnozstvi rodinnych domku, ale nachazi se zde i ruzne firmy. A prave v ulici Na Porici prisli obyvatele s prezdivkou teto ulice – BAHAMY.
Ricka Zlaty potok, ktera tece za zahradami domku se bezne tvari jako malicky potucek. Onoho leta se vsak zmenila na veletok, ktery svou sirkou a hloubkou bral vse co mu prislo do cesty. Krome obrovskych materialnich skod doslo i ke zniceni casti zeleznicni trati Dobruska-Opocno a ke strzeni lavky pro pesi. V soucasnosti je zde jiz nova lavka, ktera opet spojuje Jiraskovu ulici s ulicemi Za Vodou a Na Porici.
Soucasny stav koryta reky a okoli muzete porovnat s prilozenymi fotografiemi z osudneho leta 1998. Dobruska nebyla postizena jen touto povodni, ale i mnoha dalsimi historickymi povodnemi, jez doklada i fotografie z roku 1958.
Keska je mikro (80x90x15mm), ale vejde se do ni drobnejsi GC ci TB placatejsiho tvaru.
Parkovat lze asi 50 m od kese na ulici Jiraskova.
Prosim o nenapadne vyzvedavani kese a jeji peclive ulozeni zpet.

BAHaMY – BAHno a My (combination of Czech expressions for “MUD“ and “US“)
Cache reminds the 10th anniversary of flood which seriously affected not only town of Dobruška (mostly its parts Melcany and Pulice) but also some villages in Orlické Moutains foothills – mainly Dobré, Chábory, Pohorí, Opocno and Ceské Mezirící.
The most damaged places in Dobruška were “Na Porící” Street and “Za Vodou” Street. There you will find a lot of family houses and private companies. Later, inhabitants of “Na Porící” Street created a nickname for their street – BAHAMY. The funny expression BAHAMY consists of two Czech words which can be translated into English like “mud” and “us”.
“Zlatý Potok” Creek runs close to residential gardens and normally is pretty small. But that tragic summer – more than ten years ago – stream changed itself into deep and wide flow with incredible and destructive strength. Material damages were enormous; high water partly demolished railway from Dobruška to Opocno as well as nearby bridge. Nowadays, there is the new footbridge which re-connects “Jiráskova” Street with “Za Vodou” Street and “Na Porící” Street.
Current watercourse and its surrounding can be compared with attached photos taken in faithful summer 1998. Additionally, the 1998 floods weren’t the first one. Dobruška was affected by many of them, as an example you can see picture from 1958.
Type of Cache is “micro” (80x90x15mm), but it can absorb little and flattened GC ci TB. Possible parking place is about 50 meters far away from the Cache, in “Jiráskova” Street.
