This cache is placed in the Swiss Valley Preserve. A great area for hiking on a variety of different trails from steep ridge climbs to flat streambed trails. Fishing is available with a valid license but swimming isn't allowed. The preserve is open from sunup to sundown. Pets are allowed on a leash, hunting of any kind (animal, plants, nuts, berries) is not allowed. No bikes on trails, no motorized vehicles past the parking lot.
This little cache was a small rubber maid container filled with trinkets and well camo'd. It's been replaced with a small, round container that is camo'd as well. It sits above a horseshoe bend in Catfish Creek roughly 30-40 ft from a main path. Overgrowth is moderate to heavy depending on the season. Terrain can be slick and caution should be used. Be careful not to be seen by muggle hikers and to put cache back securely.
