htraE elgooG (W:IMs*) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

just B0B: If you never got around to solving this one, the cache was a bison tube, hanging from a tree branch, way up high. The branch is gone. The tree is gone. It is safe to assume the cache is gone, along with the nearby homeless encampment. The land has been cleared for development, so no more fun to be had at the final coordinates of N 34° 36.850 W 086° 34.264
Thank You to all that played along.

Geocache Description:

W:IMs* = Warning: Imported Mischief Series. In my travels, I occasionally encounter new and unusual hides and import them for local implementation. This is one of them.

The Cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!

Finders must also comply with special logging requirements within 36 hours of logging their find.

(Loosely) Based on a cache by BrianSnat, "The View From Above"

This cache consists of 2 stages. Stage 1 is a brown metal sign that you will use to derive the coordinates for the second, final stage. The sign is located at a point corresponding to the lower righthand corner of the picture. It is the only sign in sight for at least 150 feet, so approximate coords will work just fine. In fact, you should be able to locate the sign even with dead batteries in the GPS.

The picture above is within 15 miles of the Madison County Courthouse. Consider the title of the cache when conducting your search. You may safely assume that North is at the top of the picture. Once located and visited, use the information on the sign to determine the coordinates for the final stage, an ammo can. If it makes you feel any better, all aspects of this cache are fully compliant with Groundspeak guidelines for hiding a puzzle cache.

No hints for now, any requests for hints or assistance must be posted here in the form of a DNF log. Any resulting hints or assistance will be posted here for all to see and use. Deleting or significantly editing of your DNF log(s) may result in, at the owner's sole discretion, a permanent prohibition on logging a find for this cache.

No stages of this cache require disassembly of any object or mechanism, and no treses need be passed to gain access.

Lastly, I will tell you, both stages are readily accessible by public roadway, 3.42857. Driving distance from stage 1 to the final is less than 3 miles, so no road trips to rural Texas will be necessary. The usual rules apply. Sign and date the log at the final and return the cache to its hiding spot. Your special logging requirement for this cache is to email me with the web address listed on the sign AND the name of the road or street the sign was found on.

Use the defined operations below to fill in the coordinates:

N 34° 3 A . B C D’          W 86° 3 E . F G H’

N 34° 3 _ . _ _ _’          W 86° 3 _ . _ _ _’

Where:

“A” = Letters in 3rd word DIVIDED by 2

“B” = Letters in 2nd word TIMES 2

“C” = Letters in 6th word

“D” = Letters in 5th word DIVIDED by 11

“E” = Letters in 1st word PLUS 4th word

“F” = Letters in 2nd word MINUS letters in the 1st word

“G” = Letters in 2nd word PLUS the letters in the 4th word

“H” = Letters in 2nd word TIMES 1
