This cache was hidden on Remembrance Day 2008. It is hidden near a plaque which was erected to honour the memory of two soldiers who were killed during a training flight back in 1941. The cache contains some pencils and a logbook but no swag -- this cache is about the history and the location, not the trading items.
The Powderface Trail is closed to vehicular traffic every year from December 1 - May 15.
