I grew up hearing my father speaking his amateur radio call letters, "Kilowatt Eight Able Baker Frank," as he got to know fellow "hams" from more than 100 countries around the globe over the airwaves. K8ABF is silent now, and this cache is a small tribute to the army veteran, bassoonist, matchstick violin maker, amateur radio operator, player piano restorer and wonderful father who rests nearby.
