OPRT stands for Old Plank Road Trail. This trail starts in Sheboygan and goes west to Greenbush, running along Highway 23. Roller Skates/Blades, Bicycles, Walking, Mopeds, Horseback Riding, Pets, Skiing, and Snowmobiles are all allowed on this trail. This parking lot closes from 10pm to 6 am. It is well lit at night, has picnic tables and has a nice pit toilet available.
This is a very short walk from the parking lot, level terrain, accessible with wheelchairs, strollers, etc.
A nice little spot for trading Trackables, placed here for easy parking and access. A great spot to get your Travel Bugs and Geocoins moving East and West along Highway 23.
If you can help a Travel Bug or Geocoin on its mission but do not have one to trade, please move it. If you want to drop one and not take one, by all means, feel free! We'd like to see a nice stash of Trackables here as often as possible to encourage activity, but we aren't the type to force folks to do anything.
