City of Longwood monument to serving and fallen heroes. A part of the Twin Towers, destroyed on 9-11-01, is displayed. Please visit during daylight hours.
A wonderful tribute to our military, police and fire department heroes, as well as a reminder of the lives lost on 9-11-01. The military flags are flown on patriotic holidays. This cache was placed on Veteran's Day 2008. The cache is placed with the permission of Chief Tom Jackson, Chief of Police for the City of Longwood. Please visit this memorial during daylight hours only. Parking is available right next to the site. This monument and the cache are wheelchair friendly. Please take the time to pray for our troops and all our public servants, who put their lives on the line everyday, so that we may live safe and free.
