Harry's Home Traditional Cache
SalbonSea: It's been removed too many times now. I think the locals are trying to tell me they don't want it there!

Just off the road often EXTREMELY muddy so wear your wellies! Harry is no longer in the middle of the path where he was previously, he has moved off the path and is concealed a bit more carefully!
Harry lives in Sherrards Park Woods, one of Herfordshire's largest and most important oak woodlands.
The woodland covers almost 80 hectares or 200 acres.
In 1986 it was designated a SSSI - site of specific scientific interest. It has appeared in records for hundreds of years and is mentioned in the Doomsday book.
In 1920 Ebenezer Howard bought the area to build houses on but fortunately for Harry the locals started a save the woods campaign and the site is now protected.
The woods house one of Hertfordshire's rarest mammals, the hazel dormouse and has played host for more than 20 years to breeding pairs of woodpeckers and unusual fungi. If you are quiet you may happen across muntjac deer, badgers, bats and foxes!
Harry's home is where he likes to be most he uses it as a base to travel the country. He also collects his pocket money from here so any coin drops or swaps would help him to continue funding his travels!
