This cache was set for The South Cumbria Get Together GC1FJ4J. A great place to have a picnic – weather permitting!
Fletcher Park is a hidden gem in Kendal. Set just off the main road heading south from Kendal Town Centre it is a quiet corner of beauty. This little park is between the Castle and the canal path – now a cycleway/footpath no longer a canal.
There are some interesting old gate posts which are left from a previous generation, lots of large trees, a few rabbits hopping around and you may even see a grey squirrel.
The main path through the park continues up to Kendal Castle – there is also a cache set at the Castle so you may like to wander up there.
There is on street parking near the cache.
Due to the tree cover we suggest you use the clue to find the cache.
We hope you enjoy your visit to Fletcher Park.
