Tippecanoe Environmental Park is comprised of 354 acres of coastal scrub, pine Flatwoods and salt marsh located in the upper reaches of Charlotte Harbor at the mouth of Tippecanoe Creek. This beautiful and unique part of South Florida is a great place to view endangered and threatened wildlife species like the Florida Scrub-jay and Bald Eagle. Also commonly seen are many species of wading birds, song birds and birds of prey year 'round as well as many migratory species during the winter months.Total trail mileage for this park is 6.98 miles. Terrain may range from 1 1/2 to 3. Maybe more.
