Geocache Description:


Ednita Nazario (born April 11, 1955 in Ponce, Puerto Rico) is a Latin Grammy nominated Puerto Rican singer and songwriter, that has achieved great success both in the island and abroad. She has been in the music business from a very young age, and has released over twenty albums throughout her career. She's been acknowledged for her stamina through the years, and the sensuality of her shows.

Recently the Municipality of Ponce dedicated this avenue on her name. This avenue used to be called ave. La Ceiba now is know as ave. Ednita Nazario.

To reach the spot were there is a monument dedicated to her also where the cache is hidden. If your coming from San Juan take exit. toward road # 1 after you pass the giant letters, keep going straight this ave. until you come up at the monument (the gps will guide you). If your coming from Mayaguez drop in the exit after the toll, toward UPR and Plaza del Caribe, stay on this ave num. 12 then look for the exit towards ave. num. 2 keep straight until you come up on the intersection where the monument is (the gps will guide you).
