In October 2003 the Keep Te Awamutu Beautiful Society (KTABS) unveiled their new "Sculpture of Sound", in Sculpture Park, Te Awamutu. This was the culmination of months of work on an original concept by artist Jan Shirley, which called for an interactive set of metal instruments which would enable visitors to the park to experiment with sound.
Come play the Caribbean drums, cymbals, chimes, bells and a harp.
Cache is located in a lovely park in the Rose Town of Te Awamutu.
Nearby are many pieces of artwork including the interactive Sounds.

Cache is nearby, a black bison tube hanging around 2m from the ground in a tree. Please return it to the black zip-tie, so it stays in the same place. In January 2019 someone has reported finding a pill bottle with a piece of paper in it. If you find this, please take it away, that is NOT the cache
There is a carpark with entrance off the Te Awamutu town bypass.
Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required.
Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
