Innset gamle kirke ble bygd i 1642 og var Kvikne Kobberverksets eiendom fram til 1814, da den ble gitt til menigheta.
Kirka brant helt ned til grunnen 3.november i 1995.
Ny kirke ble gjenoppbygd på samme tuft med samme grunnform og hoveduttrykk.
Byggets arkitektur og detaljer uttrykker kirkestedets lange historie.
Den nye kirka stod ferdig i 2000.
The Kvikne Copper Mill built the old Innset Church in 1642.
