Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in a wooded area which you can reach from many different directions but is probably easiest to park at the Basingstoke Canal Visitor Centre and head through the gate (see waypoint)

[22/11/08] It appears the pencil in this cache has been broken so will replace asap - in the meantime bring a pen!

This cache is the first to be placed by our son and he was very excited to put a few bits and pieces in for other kids.

It is a 1L "Clip n Fresh" container with a few bits and pieces for the kiddies in along with a FTF badge and logbook. The logbook is inside the white plastic bag inside.

Please replace the cache exactly as you find it and make sure it is not visible from the nearby path and make sure it's closed securely.

Please check the Basingstoke Canal Visitor Centre website for carpark opening hours and note that dogs must be kept on a lead until you get through the gate mentioned above. See (visit link) for details
