This cache was hidden in honour of our daughter who has a main role (Mrs Squirrel) in Goldilocks and The Christmas Bears. It's her first community theatre experience! This cache was hidden on Opening Day within a short drive of Charlie White Theatre in Sidney.
The storyline includes a few of the other forest creatures stealing Mrs Squirrel's winter cache of acorns. During the story, Mrs Squirrel (who once was a City Squirrel) makes acorn fudge from her nut cache to share. Goldilocks comes back to visit the 3 Bears to make amends for breaking Baby Bear's chair, eating their oatmeal and sleeping in their beds the last time she visited. The forest creatures include a foxy fox, a Wolf, a Blue Jay and the aforementioned Mrs. Squirrel. It's a really nice 1 hour family play that works well on the stage.
The cache is a camo'd lock n' lock within 1 step of the trail.
