TAKE A BUG -- LEAVE A BUG!
This easy to find cache is located near the intersection of Route 22 and Colliers Way and is just 75 feet off the road. The difficulty and terrain are easy but not wheelchair accessible.
Hitchhiker Hideaway 2 is a travel bug hotel to exchange bugs and geocoins! We hope that you'll always be able to find at least one bug or coin in the Hideaway. Our only request is that you don’t leave the cache vacant. IF YOU TAKE A TRACKABLE…PLEASE LEAVE ONE!!! We apologize if you find the Hideaway empty, but unfortunately, there are some cachers who empty out the hotels.
Please always, always, always, log your trackables correctly so they are current! If you are not going to log them, don’t take them!
Our wvtrainmann rattle is the desk clerk at the Hitchhiker Hideaway 2 and he is to remain there to “meet & greet” all visitors! Please do not remove him!
This cache was previously located approximately a quarter mile away, but due to recent land clearing and future construction, that cache had to be archived and relocated! Same container...different spot! It is a large 50-caliber ammo can. The purpose of this cache is to provide a quick and easy drop and grab for trackables! Please be sure to re-hide the cache well so that it cannot be seen from the quad trail.
