Geocache Description:

A difficult multi-stage cache by Beaver Pond in Proctor, VT

Winner of the 2009 Geovague Most Devious Hide Award!!

Beaver pond is a great place to go kayaking or canoeing. The water is very clear and there is plenty of wildlife. The launch is on the other side of the pond from the parking cords given for this cache on Beaver Pond Road.

This is a multi stage cache. I named it Angry Beaver because it is by Beaver Pond and you are likely to be angry with me after you try to find it. I wanted to redeem my hiding abilities after placing Crown Point Road. I wasn't pleased on how easy I made that one. This one however is a little more difficult.

It may be a difficult hike at times. There is a "trail" going from the parking cords. It isn't much of a trail though. It isn't marked, it's not used very often. The terrain is very rocky, changes in elevation frequently, and can be very slippery at times. I have hiked it many times in sandals though so don't let me detour you too much. It's more of a warning than anything else.

I hope you enjoy finding this cache as I have been wanting to put it out for some time now. Please put everything back as you found it and notify me if there is any problems with the cache. Bring your own writing utensil because I didn't have anymore room to put one.
