I love trains, which should be obvious from the hides I have made.
I also am interested in the little town of Milford, Va., which is in Caroline County and has all of the earmarks of a dying town. I have no idea why this town seems to be fading away, but if you drive right through the "downtown" area you'll see that the majority of businesses that were once there have gone away, leaving empty building behind.
I have been looking for a place to hide a cache in Milford, and this one satisfies that desire and is within sight of the train tracks such that seeing a train is likely. We saw two of them in the brief time that we were there.
The area is a little messy and could use some CITO love.
Make sure you park off Industrial Drive.
