Jugé d'une utilité incontestable, le lavoir de Baillon est édifié sur les rives de la Nouvelle-Thève, d'après le plan et le devis établis par M. Villebois, agent d'arrondissement. La réalisation d'un puits est également décidée la même année. Le pont de Baillon avait été reconstruit en 1841, tandis que celui de Bonnet, sur l'Ysieux, l'est en 1865.
Dans ce hameau très paisible, ce lavoir tout simple composé de deux pièces distinctes.

Judged of an undeniable utility, the wash house of Baillon is built on banks of the Nouvelle-Thève, according to the plan and the estimate establish by Mr. Villebois, agent of district. The realization of a well is also decided the same year. The bridge of Baillon had been rebuilt in 1841, while that of Bonnet, on Ysieux, is in 1865.
In this very peaceful hamlet, this wash house very simple compound of two distinct parts.
