Geocache Description:

A short tough climb from the cove.

Part of the Highway 1 Drivers Series by NickHawley and Monk191. We both love to drive and we thought it would be great to make a series up Highway 1. Most of the caches are drive up caches with a couple a little ways off the road but all within 10 min of the highway. Please enjoy.

This cache is down in an awesome little cove north of Big Sur, about a 5 minute hike from the road. Parking and trail coordinates are include. This is rated a 5 because it involves some rock climbing. Climb is about 15 feet up, nothing too difficult and you do not need ropes, but there is loose rock, and care will definitely be needed.

To get here, park at the first set of coordinates, and then take the trail to the left at the second set of coordinates. When you get down to the beach, head left to a second beach around the rock. This may be tough to get to depending on the tide. Then head to the back of the cove and climb up the rock there. The cache is under a rock by a plant. Take a look at the uploaded photo to get an idea.

Cache is an airborne container.
