MAZEL TOV to JuneNY--FirstTo Find!!!
SOME THINGS TO NOTE IN A JEWISH CEMETERY: 1).Grave markers are uniform and plain. Jewish tradition discourages statuary or other showy displays. The impermanence of worldly material gain is emphasized. 2). It is customary to leave stones on the grave marker, to document that the site has been visited. However, as the stones are never removed, it would be hard to say how long it has been since the visit took place!
Shalom Aleichem!
