This cache is located in one of my favorite local hiking spots in the Olympic National Forest. I could give you lots of instructions on how to get here, but that would take half the fun out of it. Suffice to say that there is a great parking area at N 47º 58.025’ W 123º 07.653’. The cache is located in an area with quite a bit of tree cover, and the best reading I could get was only to 25’ accuracy, so you will need to use the coordinates to get close and then use your geo-senses after that. The cache is a small lock-and-lock, and contains a bunch of fairly nice trinkets, foreign coins, and some law enforcement items. As with all caches, I request that if you take something, you leave something nice. My goal is to eliminate a cache full of gum wrappers, dental floss, pieces of papers and garbage. Have fun and enjoy the area. No bushwhacking needed, just stay on the trails! When you get to the sign, the cache name will make sense. I moved the cache in 2020, new coordinates, since the little side trail it was on totally overgrown. It is now very close to the trail, if you get close, it will be easy. I also left some small geocaches for you to take and hide somewhere else, along with a bunch of coins - see photos. The trails can always use help, so maybe bring a pair of clippers.
