Cache located in rolling foothills of the lower basin of Bear Canyon on the west slope of the Sandia Mountains. The cache is located north of the Albuquerque Academy’s access road at the end of a feint trail heading north approximately .1 mile east of the intersection of Trail # 365 and the access road. You will pass by USDA marker # 407 on your way to the cache. I suggest parking at the trail head parking lot located at the east end of Spain Blvd.
The cache is a camouflage painted nut jar. The cache contains a log and pens to log your find as well as some misc. swag. Enjoy the hiking, landscape and cache. I’ll look forward to reading of your finds and adventures.
