KVR Trestle - Otter Valley to Brookemere

You are allowed to drive down this section of the KVR with a "normal vehicle" - just go slow and watch for rocks - it is 9.7 kms.
The KVR is a poignant reminder to our past, only 100 years ago it was the primary mode of transportation.
It would leave Princeton and headed up the valley, following the Tulameen river up to Tulameen. Next stop – Coalmont, the fireman preferred Blakeburn Coal. After the rising of prices by the Coalmont Collaires the K.V.R. fireman truly missed Blakeburn’s coal, before the boycott it’s superior firing ability had meant that they had to shovel less during a regular twelve hour shift getting their locomotives up the Coquihalla. As a further example, take the following lyrics from as song from 1930.
