Geocache Description:

For this letterbox you will either need to hike the aprox 3 km there, or you can drive if you have a vehicle with enough clearance. A stock 4 wheel drive will get you through - no mini vans please. The photos you see below will be among some of the sites you will see on your adventures.. :) The pictures are not in order or are they indicative that of what will be at the cordinates you are at. They are simply towers along the way

THANK YOU TO GEARHEDD - WHO HAS CREATED AN OFFICIAL LETTERBOX STAMP FOR THIS CACHE! As soon as we can get into the cache (depends on snow levels) we will be replace the one that's in there with this one.
Our first letterbox attempt but for an awesome reason, this is true north, not magnetic. To obtain the projections we went to a site and put in the coordinates and it gave us the projection. Final destination is in the hint. - we want to take you on a journey of discovery, amazement, history and pay homage to those that went before us.

(you will not see this tower there)

This journey will take you along the majority of the original tramline that ran between Blakeburn & Coalmont. If you plan on hiking it - it is about 45 minutes from here to the start of the Anchor Hill Multi Cache. .

In this cache you will be completing projections, these projections have been made to the best of our ability to take you to special points and ensure you don't miss any of the original towers. Some are standing, and some have fallen - The fallen ones are quite often by the site of the road. Even some of the standing ones you may not notice at first glance til you're right there..

Please join us for the adventure of a lifetime!.

.

You're starting cordinates ( Y 49.29.003 North and 120.44.179 West)will put you in an open field - this field used to be the sports field for the town of Blakeburn - the original school wasn't too far from here. But imagine the voices of those playing football or soccer here enjoying some free time. See that road slightly to the left of the "huge' log? You're going to be taking that road - if you want the easy instructions see below - following this will take you to the places where you can see the towers - standing and fallen.
