Wikipedia defines "dead man's curve" as:
Dead Man's Curve is the unofficial but commonly used name given to hazardous curves on Interstate and other roads in the United States that have claimed lives due to accidents.
Of course, the term was popularized in the 1964 top ten hit by Jan and Dean, "Dead Man's Curve". With the prophwtic chorus:
Dead Man's urve, It's no place to play,
