An easy cache a short distance from Almonte near a restored pioneer cemetery.
About a mile from town, the road from Almonte passes near an early Roman Catholic cemetery on Ramsey Concession 12. The dates on some of the headstones date back as early as the 1840s. The cemetery has been unused for many years, having been superceded by a newer cemetery on the other side of town. Some years ago this pioneer cemetery was restored by Holy Name of Mary Parish in Almonte, and they continue to maintain the site. You may find a look at some of the old headstones to be quite interesting.

The cache container is a camo'd one Kg plastic peanutbutter bottle suitably concealed behind the trees near the edge of the cemetery. The initial contents include the usual logbook and swag along with a geocoin and a FTF prize.
